Wild West was inspired by James West from one of Dusty’s favorite childhood television shows, The Wild Wild West. Dusty imagined the style as the hat she would have made for the show’s sharply dressed Western crime fighter—her own updated interpretation of the 1870s-inspired look. The example shown features a 4 1/2-inch hand-shaped crown and 3 1/2-inch unbound brim, finished with a pink velvet hatband and feather embellishment. It’s a distinctive mix of classic Western form and Dusty’s more playful, individual style.
