The Lady Boss
The Lady Boss was inspired by the strong, hardworking women who take charge and lead—whatever their particular “show” may be. Dusty designed the style to cross boundaries, carrying the presence of a Western hat into something equally at home as a bold fashion statement. The original is shown in Powder Blue, giving its dramatic silhouette an unexpected softness. The hand-shaped crown rises from 4 inches in front to 6 1/4 inches in back, while the 3 1/2-inch brim is finished with a distinctive pencil roll. A wide satin grosgrain band and tonal feather embellishment complete the monochromatic look. Despite its name and original Powder Blue presentation, Dusty considers The Lady Boss a design for anyone. In another color or exactly as shown, its shape stands on its own. Handmade in Sturgis, South Dakota, The Lady Boss is wearable art with confidence built into its silhouette.
