The dramatic design features custom gold-thread embroidery on velvet paired with Dusty’s signature feather embellishments, assembled one feather at a time. The black-and-gold palette gives the hat an ornate, theatrical character while preserving the classic tall top-hat silhouette. The hat body comes from Dusty’s stock base rather than being handmade from raw materials, while the decorative work and finishing are custom. Created as wearable art in the USA.
